Firmware Database Update Notice March 22, 2024 – HOBBYWING Guru Support Center

This service notice is regarding a recent firmware update that affects some basic functions and provides fixes to reported issues.

To follow are details on the updates as well as information on updating the products.

- Service Notice - Firmware Updates -

Firmware updates have been released for the following popular Hobbywing products:
- Justock G3S (ROAR Approved as of 04/08/24)

- Stock Spec G2 (ROAR Approved as of 04/08/24)

- LCD Program Box Pro

- Tunalyzer

These updates are available on the HW Link V2 App, or the HW USB Link program on Windows PC, along with an LCD Program Box G2 or Pro(G3).

Database Update

Database Version: 2024-03-18

There has recently been a Database Update to the HW Link App, and the HW USB Link program.

This database update contains new firmware for the recently released Justock G3S, and the Stock Spec G2, as well as updates for the Tunalyzer and LCD Program Box Pro (G3). Here are the key factors of each update.

- Justock G3S -
XR_4.4.04

- Resolves functionality of RPM Limiter Feature. Normal Racing

XR_4.4.04_G3

- RPM Limit settings will match the previous generation Justock G3 (including Handout version). Only for racing with previous generation Justock G3, and using the Limited RPM Features.

- Stock Spec G2 -
XR.4.3.02

- Resolves stutter/hesitation under load. Normal Racing

XR.4.3.02_Boost

- Resolves stutter/hesitation under load. Drift or Non-Blinky Open

- LCD Program Box Pro -

PB-1.1.09

-Improves bluetooth connectivity.

- Tunalyzer -

TL-1.1.15

- Resolves bluetooth reset issue.

Hobbywing is currently in the process of submitting these updates for sanctioning body approval as needed.

Getting the Database Update - Opening the HW Link V2 App or HW USB Link program should automatically check for updates to the Database and let you know one is available. Connection of the device to the internet is needed so the update can download to the App/Program.

To manually check the database update:

Using the HW Link V2 App - Open the App. Tap Settings. Tap About. Tap Database Version. The App will check for an update.

Using the HW USB Link on Windows PC - Open the program. Click on Help. Click on Database
