Cooling fan keeps shutting off (while driving)

I recently purchased ESC and motor combo. The setup is great and I am really enjoying it. Only thing is the esc fan keeps shutting off (while driving) and the only way to get it to start running again is by spinning it by hand. This then seems to clear the dead spot it gets stuck in. I will only realize the fan has stopped running when the thermal cut off kicks on.

Most likely, the fan became "jammed" to cause this "Push start" situation.  That has likely lead to some form of basic damage to your fan, that makes it react that way.  Overall, this is no likely a "bad" or "Defective" fan, but something that happens occasionally in the world of RC cars.  How or why fans get damaged, is some what of a mystery as most user report nothing more than the fan stops working correctly.  No history or recount of the situations.

In the end, fans are not a warranty item as they are wearable and damaged item depending on several factors with most installs and setups.
