Equipment Needed
- Xrotor water pump
- Servo tester / PWM signal generator / Radio
Power supply (USB or DC, properly connected)
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Initial Setup & Check Current Direction
- Connect the pump to the servo tester and power supply.
- Power on the system.
- Apply throttle (raise the value on the tester) and observe the impeller rotation direction.
- Note whether it is currently CCW (counter-clockwise) or CW (clockwise).
2. Power Off
- Turn off the power to the pump.
3. Set High Throttle (Prepare for Programming)
- On the servo tester, adjust the throttle value to 1950–1953 (high throttle position).
4. Enter Programming Mode
- Power the pump back ON while the throttle is set high.
- Listen carefully for the beeps:
1 beep → Enters motor direction change mode.
5. Change Motor Direction
- Once you hear the 1 beep, lower the throttle value to around 1050 (low throttle position).
- Wait for the next set of beeps:
- 1 beep = CCW (Counter-clockwise)
- 2 beeps = CW (Clockwise)
- When you hear the desired direction (1 or 2 beeps), immediately increase the throttle back to 1950–1953 to confirm your selection.
6. Save & Exit
- Wait for 3 beeps, this means the new direction is saved and programming mode has exited.
7. Test the New Direction
- Power cycle the pump (turn off and on again) if needed.
- Apply throttle and observe the impeller.
- The rotation should now be in the opposite direction from the original.
- Confirm water flow direction matches your needs.
