Both the Max5 G2 HV PLUS and the XR10 Pro DRX are specially designed ESCs that have standard protections removed so they can be operated outside of the normal range. Due to this THERE IS NO WARRANY on these ESCs.
When using these ESC's you will want to use the data logging to help "dial" in the setups.
- Calibrate the ESC to your throttle channel.
- Turn all the throttle and breaking settings down in the programming.
- Do a "gentle" test run with a gentle roll on to the throttle and very gentle roll on the breaks. (BREAKING SPIKES THE CURRENT VERY AGRESSIVLY. Be sure to have enough room to slow down without needing to "slam" on the breaks.)
- Review the data log and slowly tune the throttle and brake settings back up, and repeat until you are near the max values. (It is recommended to not turn the brake settings back up too high.)
- Start to fine tune the settings until you get the desired behavior of the vehicle, and continue to use the data log to monitor the data.
