Max 8 with 3660 Motor

Q. Does the Max 8 with 3660 size motor work for 4s, or 8th Scale?

A: Not suggested. Typically E8th scale runs 4s-6s setups, and uses the larger E8th scale size motors, lower KV motors.  The 3660 motors are not big enough for most E8th scales, and not suited for 4-6s like E8th scale uses.

The Max 8, with 3660 size motors, are often used for Heavy Duty 4wd applications, using 2s or 3s. For 3s, Lower than 4000Kv is suggested. For 2s, 4000KV and above is suggested.  The KV of the motor determines the voltage range that can be used.
