Having problems with the OTA or the LCD box connecting to your XERun (XR) series of ESC?
The ESC has a dedicated "program port" on the top of it, and it has orientation markings on the front edge to ensure the plug goes the right direction. Please confirm that is correct as that has been the only thing that makes them 'not work' for the most part.
Next would be a few simple usage topics.
The ESC will not allow programming to happen (Tuning Via the LCD Program Box or OTA) unless it is not getting anything other than "Neutral" or 'no signal' from the RX.
Often a receiver will be in fail safe if the radio is off, or the ESC has not been calibrated. A simple work around for this is to unplug the ESC from the Receiver and try the Program device again.
In the event that neither of the above topics are helpful, the next basic step is to confirm if your ESC, or program device is suffering from an issue. A simple test would be try the program device, on a 2nd ESC that is compatible to confirm the program device is okay.
Also to note, the XERun series does not work with the more basic LED Program Card. They only work with the OTA, and the LCD Program Box. The Wifi Express is "not" the OTA and no longer supported for the XERun series. Additionally, today's later generation of XErun series ESC models will not work with the older LCD Box that has the "Micro USB" and White Lettering. They require the latest generation of the LCD Box (G2) that has the USB C and blue lettering.
